Protection / Knife Collections
Knife collection Sack-Ups
One knife, or a lifetime collection, each blade in its own cotton slot instead of loose against the next one.
Every blade in its own slot
The Sack-Ups Knife Protector is a roll knit from the same grey cotton as the firearm line, printed “SACK-UPS, The Knife Protector,” and built around individual slots so each knife rides on its own instead of touching the blade next to it. That is the difference between a roll and a drawer: a drawer lets edges knock against each other every time it opens, a roll keeps each piece separated and wrapped in cotton the whole time it is stored. The same silicone treatment that protects a rifle barrel works the same way here, wicking moisture off the steel and guarding the finish, whether the collection is a single hunting knife or a case built up over decades.
For collectors, not just a drawer
Sack-Ups builds this line for people who think of what they own as a collection, not a junk drawer. Their own phrase for it is protection for “collections large and small,” and the roll format is what makes that true at either end, one slot is enough for a single knife carried in a pack, and the same roll scales to a case with a dozen. It is manufactured at 1611 Jamestown Road in Morganton, North Carolina, on the same knitting floor that has been finishing cotton with environmentally safe oil and silicone since 1985.

The material argument
Cotton wicks. Synthetic traps.
True cotton draws moisture away from a metal surface instead of holding it against the blade, which is the opposite of what a thin synthetic pouch does once it is zipped shut in a drawer. Sack-Ups combines that natural wicking with the same silicone treatment used across their firearm and archery lines, so a knife roll gets the identical protection against rust, dirt and scratches as a rifle sack, just built to a slot width that fits a blade instead of a barrel. The full explanation of why the material was chosen, not just what it is called, is on why cotton.
The knife roll sits alongside firearm, rod and reel, archery and woodworking protection in the full protection range, all cut from the same cotton on the same floor in Morganton.
